Mario Massaro
Mario Massaro joined AMCO as Head of Capital Management in September 2024.
He has over 25 years of professional experience in capital markets, gained within the Fixed Income division of Morgan Stanley in London.
He began his career in 1998 as an analyst and then continued in various areas of structured finance and fixed income. Among other things, he was a credit sales specialist, focusing on derivative instruments, ABS, high-yield bonds and distressed loans. He later worked as a banking sector specialist, providing bespoke solutions for Italian and European banks. In this role he dealt with NPL and UTP disposal processes, financing of loan portfolios, balance sheet optimisation and management of credit and interest rate risk in the banking book.
He holds a degree in Economics from Bocconi University in Milan and a MSc in Econometrics and Mathematical Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
